My son is ten years old and his father has never been in his
life. When my son was two months, he took off and never heard from him until
six months ago. He says he had a serious drug addiction and didn’t want to hurt
us. I allowed him to meet my son last month and they were thrilled.
I forgive him for leaving and not paying child support but
he is clean now. He wants to take my son on a hunting trip next month. They are
going to camp out for a week. I must say that he seems like he is in my son’s
life for good now. He asked me out to dinner and I am contemplating it. I never
